Autism In The Workplace Course

Autism in the Workplace is a course being run at the Workers’ Educational Association – WEA, Luke Street.

This briefing is for union reps, officers and members of all unions on Autism in the Workplace.

  • What is autism? Realities and myths
  • Autism issues at work
  • Making the workplace more autism – friendly
  • Autistic workers, carers and the law

The day will consist of a mixture of presentations and activities, and will include John McDonnell MP speaking on autism, politics and the labour movement.

Please note the briefing is free and is open to reps, members, officers of ALL unions.
Please also note that this briefing is not aimed at people in their capacity of working with autistic clients, but at trade unionists who are organising and representing members in the workplace.

It is envisaged that this event will be very popular – places are limited to 18 – so book now! Free sandwich lunch included!
