Disabled People have had a really bad deal under the Coalition and Tory Governments. Stringent attacks on our lives. 130,000 people have died who would not have done so without these attacks on us.
Labour will stop the Bedroom Tax,
Scrap Universal Credit. Restore benefit levels devise a fairer system,
Make our buses, railways and homes accessible as part of a Greener New Deal
Create more training pathways and ways into flexible working including a Reasonable Adjustments Passport.
Develop a Free National Education System based on the principle of inclusivity with restored funding for SEND.
Fully implement the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in UK Law. Set up a Ministry for Women and Equalities Introduce the Social Model in Law.
All 13.5 million disabled people in UK and 5 million carers have a great deal to gain by a Labour Victory and Disabled People have a huge amount to lose by a Tory win.
