ABOUT MOUTHS WIDE SHUT POETRY:
A monthly space to explore, experience & experiment, with prattling prose & poetry.
We’re a fully inclusive, fully accessible space open to every poet from all walks of life – old and new – who are looking for a small and welcoming community. Expect riffing by candlelight in a centuries-old Chapel.
Last Saturday of every month.
THE VENUE:
The Chapel is in the back garden of the Gallery Cafe. Buy your drinks (and stock up) before you come through – there is no bar in the chapel. There is a great selection of wines and locally brewed beers, as well as ethical soft drinks and tea. Style: Poetry, acoustic, comedy, prose, monologues, etc.
When: 6.30pm doors, for a 7.00pm sharp start.
Length of pieces: 2-4 minutes
