Stand Up and Spit takes over the Camden Centre for a full on extravaganza of Ranting poetry from its finest exponents. Ranting poetry was (and still is) all about expressing the anger a whole generation felt: being a poet on stage and being part of the crowd. Join us for a what will be an unforgettable evening of performances from some of the biggest legends and best new voices ranting now.
Attila the Stockbroker – former city broker turned punk poet and folk punk star
Janine Booth, aka The Big J – Marxist, trade unionist, socialist-feminist, author, Ranting poet
John Cooper Clarke – the always sharply dressed bard of Salford, still riding the New Wave
Joolz Denby – the UK’s premier punk poetess
Ginger John – the Doomsday Commando
