Radical Democracy and 21st Century Socialism

Will Labour members ever have a real say over policy, candidate selection and political strategy? Should we, could we, use digital technologies to facilitate that? And what are our aspirations for democracy in the UK?  Is it really enough for socialists to rely on forms of local and parliamentary democracy that have remained essentially unchanged for nearly a century? How can we make government, workplaces, businesses, local communities, cities, media, unions, schools, hospitals and other institutions democratic?  And do we even want to?
