Join us at The Kitchen @the Bridge, 73-81 Southwark Bridge Road, SE1 0NQ

This event is free of charge: please email [email protected] to confirm your attendance so we can ensure that there is enough food and drink!

You are invited to an evening celebration of 100 years of women’s membership of the RMT union. Join us for food and drink and hear Helena Wojtczak, author of Railwaywomen, share stories of women railway workers’ struggles over the past 100 years. There will also be a speaker form Disabled Peple Against Cuts (DPAC) and some poetry from Janine Booth. Join the discussion as women from the RMT talk about the continuing battle for equality in our industry and how we can take the struggle forward for the next 100 years.

This event is open to all RMT members, men and women. We will also welcome members of other trade unions and campaigners for equality, workers’ and women’s rights.

A buffet and refreshments will be provided.
