One day. Three sessions:
Alternative economics l Radical Councils l End Generation Rent
Economic crisis is portrayed as abstract and complicated: that you need to be a government minister or university professor to understand. Economics is something elites do, something from which most of us are excluded.
Yet the effects of crash after crash don’t exclude us. We feel them, in our spiralling rents and stagnating wages, in our strained hospitals and lost libraries, in our slashed benefits and our ever-growing mountain of debt.
In Corbynomics for Everyday Life we’ll combat this disconnect. Over one day through three sessions we’ll demystify economics and relate it to the everyday, discussing how communities can resist and what kind of caring, co-operative, post-austerity economy Corbyn should be arguing for.

Session 1 – Why isn’t the economy working? Myths busted.
Session 2 – Fighting local cuts: How do we get radical councils?
Session 3 – Generation Rent: What’s really causing the ‘housing crisis’?
