Guest poet Anna Frearson, plus a quality photo taken of every open mic'er, our bookstall, and motormouth host Janine Booth.
Anna Frearson has been writing poetry since she was a teenager and as her poetry has matured, so has she, and has been performing it for the past four years.
Anna writes poems about life and her experiences and observations of it - sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes a bit ranty, sometimes mad.
Anna also curates the 'People's Poet' page in Lewes News, encouraging local people to share their voice through poetry.
One audience member likened Anna to 'Pam Ayres on crack"!
Janine Booth, host of Spoaken Word Lewes, says, "Anna is one of our most popular poets, She never fails to entertain and provoke thought. Her style is engaging and her material highly relatable."
To book an open mic slot, please message the organiser in advance or take your chances on the door! Every open mic performer will have a quality photograph taken of them in action!
