Talk on Minnie Lansbury: Tower Hamlets Women’s History Month

Janine will be giving a presentation about Minnie Lansbury at the Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives (277 Bancroft Road, London E1 4DQ) as part of Women’s History Month.

Also speaking (provisionally) will be Sarah Jackson about the East London Suffragettes.

Around the same time, late February to  mid-May, the Archive will be hosting an exhibition by a  local artist, Alison Marchant, which will re-visit some of  the work which she produced during the 1980s, incorporating  images sourced from archives, including those showing match women.
