July 24, 2019 @ 09:00 - 15:00

Reid Hall, 4 Rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris, France

20 years since the term neurodiversity was coined, this event looks at the development of autistic rights in the UK and France.

How are the politics of autism different in the two countries?

How might they develop further?

What might they learn from each other?

This event will feature presentations from three notable autistic self-advocates from the UK – Sara Jane Harvey (Agony Autie), Janine Booth and Panda Mery – and we encourage autistic people to come and talk to us about the politics of autism in France.

This event is free, and lunch will be provided. But please note that the presentations will be in English as that is the working language of the institute.
