The World Transformed – Left Coalitions: when they work and when they don’t

September 22, 2019 @ 14:00 - 15:30

As part of The World Trasnformed – a political festival running parallel with Labour Party conference – Janine will be making the case against lash-ups with non-socialist, non-working-class parties. Details here.

Some believe that Labour’s best chance at defeating the hard right and winning the next election is to go into coalition with other parties. For others the risks of compromising Labour’s policy platforms are simply too high at a time when many are looking for radical alternatives. In this session we’ll unpack the pros and cons.
