DESCRIPTION:Some-Antics presents an afternoon of poetry from contributors to the new Left Cultures poetry anthology\, Class Lines and Red Rhymes at the Phoenix in Leicester. \nThe new poetry anthology Class Lines and Red Rhymes features 25+ left-wing poems from old names and new\, with striking illustrations throughout. \nContributors Janine Booth (who also edited the book)\, Chris Williams and Henry Normal will read/perform their poems\, plus others from the anthology. There will also be an open mic section. \nAnd you can buy Class Lines and Red Rhymes! \nProceeds (after expenses) will be donated to a local working-class cause. \nClass Lines and Red Rhymes in Leicester\nTickets are £8 and £4 concessions\, now available from the Phoenix website. \nPlease note this is an additional show to the regular Some-Antics date\, which will take place on Friday 19 June.

Along with keg beers and a plentiful selection of spirits. \nThe Vic was a Derby CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year Finalist 2023.
