On Thursday 12 May, author Janine Booth and foreword-writer John McDonnell MP spoke at the launch event for 'Autism Equality in the Workplace: removing barriers and challenging discrimination', with contributions from two autistic workers and a parent of an autistic worker. Around fifty people attended.

On 11 October 2014, I was the guest speaker at the Disability Conference of the Communication Workers' Union (CWU), held in Leeds. I addressed the conference about Autism in the Workplace, and got great feedback from delegates!
Tuesday 25 November 2014 was the annual, international Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls. RMT women held an event in London with speakers including a Kurdish campaigner, Unison women's committee chair, the International Transport Workers' Federation and the RMT National President. Around fifty people attended the event, and I was elased to be able to contribute by performing three of my poems on the theme of violence against women.
